Winter Essentials

Winter is one of my favorite times of the year! Yes I know, that may sound weird, but I love nothing more than watching it snow and having my cup of hot chocolate, sitting by the fire. However, as much as I love winter there can be many negatives. Therefore, I put together some of my winter essentials that help me get through the harsh Ohio winters!

Sweaters |

I am a big fan of sweaters paired with jeans, a vest, and a pair of boots! I think this is a basic but much needed look. It is the perfect outfit for winter because it keeps you warm while looking cute! You can also throw on a winter coat or parka over your outfit and it will still look great and put together.

Boots |

Besides tennis shoes boots are about the only kind of shoes I wear in winter. If I am being honest I own way to many pairs of boots, but in my defense I do wear all of them! Boots are simple but they are also a great shoe to pair with any winter outfit. Below are some my favorites!

Coffee / Hot Chocolate |

I live by coffee and hot chocolate in winter. When I wake up coffee if the first thing on my mind therefore, I go make myself a cup of coffee and bring it to my first class to keep my hands warm on the walk over! Not to mention its a nice caffeine boost in the morning!

Chapstick |

My lips are always chapped in the winter. That is one of the negatives of winter! However, I found the most perfect chapstick there is! It is Neosporin night lip therapy and it works absolute miracles! I found mine in the lip care section at Walgreens!

Lotion |

Along with my lips my skin get very dry. I am always putting lotion on my face, arms, and hands in winter. I even keep a little tube of lotion in my purse for when I am out and about and my hands start to hurt. Any type of lotion works it just depends on what your preference is.

Winter Coat |

Yes, this is totally obvious, but a good winter coat can go a long way. I have gone through more winter coats than I can count but I finally found the perfect one! I also own a parka and I highly recommend for everyone to own one!

XOXO,

Caroline
