HAPPY FRI-YAY! I officially made it through my first week of college after Christmas Break! My goal for my first week back was to establish a new routine for the semester. My routine isn't set in stone quite yet, but I thought I would share my current routine and how I incorporated some of my 2018 goals!
Monday, Wednesday, Friday |
My class schedule is the same for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (MWF). Therefore on MWF, all I have is math 12 -12:50. As great as only have one class at noon sounds, it is actually not that great. I wish it was a little earlier in the day so I could get more stuff done in the afternoon, but because that is not the case I am trying to make the best out of my mornings. During this past week I would try to wake up sometime around 9. When I wake up the first thing I do is make myself a cup of coffee and enjoy it as I try to motivate myself to go work out. Once I have finished my cup of coffee, I then go to the gym. I tend to stay at the gym for about an hour. Once my workout is complete it is usually around 10:30. I then head back to my dorm to shower and get ready. Personally, after I shower I like to let my hair air-dry and then I will throw it up in a cute messy bun (that is my go-to, everyday hairstyle). Usually by the time my hair is dry it is time to go to class and continue on with my day!
Tuesday |
Tuesday is by far my longest day. I have classes from 12:30 - 7:30 at night. YIKES! I tend to use my Tuesday mornings as my relaxing time. I chose Tuesday to relax because on Monday's I go to a tumbling class, and I am usually really sore the next day. Therefore, I set my alarm to about 11, and when it goes off I will make my cup of coffee, go do my laundry, and watch Netflix until it is time to get ready and go to class.
Thursday |
On Thursday's I only have two classes and they are back-to-back. Therefore, I will have class 12:30 - 3:15. On Thursday's my morning routine is the exact same as mt MWF routine except I will allow myself to sleep in 30 extra minutes since my class starts 30 minutes later.
Every day |
Everyday after my classes my schedule may vary based on what errands I have. On Monday's I go to tumbling 2:30 - 3:30 to get a hard workout in, and honestly I just love to tumble it is a great way relieve stress, and later that night I go to zumba 9 - 9:50 because I just love love LOVE to dance. Obviously after class on Tuesday's I am starving so I usually get dinner after class then start my homework, but on on Wednesday's and Thursday's at 3:30 - 5:30 I go tutor kids at a place called Preston Taylor Ministries (PTM), and I absolutely love it! Finally, every night before bed I will pick up a book and read a few chapters before bed, and I (try) to have my light out by 11. However, as to Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday I do not have a routine because that is when I go and hang out with my friends!
