SNOW DAY!

If there is one thing that I have learned this week, it is that the south treats snow a whole lot different than the north. For example, I go to Belmont University, which is in Nashville, Tennessee, and Belmont decides to send an email out around noon that all classes after noon are canceled. However, at this point in time there is no snow to be found. Nashville was just expecting .2 inches of snow. Of course, I am not complaining because that means that we got a 4 day weekend (also had Monday off because of Martin Luther King Day)! Now it is Tuesday morning and I heard my alarm go off. The first thing I do when I wake up is look at my phone, and I notice I have a text message from Belmont stating that school is cancelled once again! YAY for 5 five day weekends am I right?! My friends and I had to get a little creative to keep us occupied through this long weekend. Therefore, below are some of the things that we decided to do!

Movie Marathons |

Who doesn't love a good movie marathon?! Therefore, my roommate, Emily, and I decided to watch more movies that I can count last Friday. We watched Trolls, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Beauty And The Beast, and many many more. Along with these movies we decided to make hot chocolate and coffee to go with our movies!

Hot Chocolate |

When ever it is cold outside, especially when it is snowing, my favorite thing to do is fix a cup of hot chocolate. Nothing is better than coming in from playing in the snow, sitting by your fire, and drinking hot chocolate. However, now that I am in college I can't sit by a fire and drink my hot chocolate, but I still love the warmth of my mug on my hands.

Board Games |

I am a sucker for good board games! I could spend an entire day dedicated to board games. Therefore, a few of my friends and I decided to play games such as, "What Do You Meme" and more!

Make A Fort |

Yes, I know I am in college but making a fort is still just as fun! My big, Mady from AGD, lives in an apartment and we decided to turn her entire living room into a fort! Then, we watched even more movies in the fort!

Catch Up On Homework |

This is obviously not a fun task, but it had to be done. I got pretty far behind on some of my classes so, I took my five day weekend an got ahead on all of my work!

XOXO,

Caroline
