This year for spring break twelve girls, including I, from my sorority decided to go to Disney World! While we were in Disney we went to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios (my personal fav), and UNIVERSAL!!!
Day One: Animal Kingdom |
The first day was definitely our earliest morning. We woke up at 6:45, and if you know me I am no morning person. However, we woke up early so we could be first in line to go on the Avatar ride, and BOY WAS IT WORTH IT! It was a stimulation ride, and on the ride you rode on a banshee and flew all through the land of Avatar! It was so realistic I even scream at one point!
As the day went on we went ans saw a bunch of animals, but other than the Avatar ride there wasn't many rides. However, right before we left we got to go on a safari. Not gonna lie I was upset I didn't get to see any tigers, but I did get to see some lions!
Day Two: Magic Kingdom |
Okay, not going to lie, Magic Kingdom is my least favorite of four theme parks. It is just a little to busy for my liking and you have to wait at least an hour for EVERYTHING. Even though this is my least favorite part, I still enjoyed my time there!
My favorite part of Magic Kingdom was at the end of the day when they put on a light show with Cinderella's Castle. This was LITERALLY the most magically thing ever! Words cannot describe how cool that was!
Day Three: Epcot |
Epcot was very fun in my opinion! For those of you who don't know Epcot has places from all over the world. They have Italy, Germany, Japan, China, France, and so much more! I felt like I was traveling the world while I was there, even though I was well aware I was still in Orlando. However, this was the one of the best places to take pictures!
Day Four: Hollywood Studios |
THIS WAS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE PLACE! I am a HUGE Star Wars fan so I was in awe the entire time! I went around an met all the characters I could. I met Chewy, Kylo Ren, BB-8, and some storm troopers. Not going to lie I was upset I couldn't meet Dark Vader because I love Anakin Skywalker. I was also pretty upset I couldn't do Jedi training because apparently its only for ages 4-12, but this was by far one of my favorite days!
Day Five: UNIVERSAL!!! |
I keep typing UNIVERSAL in all caps because this was by far my favorite, favorite, favorite day! Only three of us went to UNIVERSAL because it was extra to go since it wasn't apart of Disney. BUT let me tell you UNIVERSAL is THE most magical place ON EARTH! I love the Harry Potter series so once again, I was in awe the entire time. I even teared up when I first went to Diagon Alley! Let me tell you that you NEED to go to UNIVERSAL! They have the best rides EVER and not to mention more than half of the park is Harry Potter.
My favorite part of UNIVERSAL was when we went to Ollivanders Wand Shop. When you first arrive you walk in with a group, and in that group one person gets picked to be fitted for their wand. YUP you guessed it, I GOT PICKED! I was loving every second of it, and of course I bought the wand (and Snapes, OOPS)! One of the best parts of Harry Potter world is if you buy an interactive wand, you can walk up to certain windows and cast spells with your wands! And before you ask, yes I went up to every window to try and they all worked!!!
Day Six: Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom |
On day six we ended up going to two parks since we had park hoppers. We started our day out at Hollywood Studios and revisited some Star Wars because I couldn't resist, but we also went to the frozen show and met some toy soldiers from Toy Story.
Then later on in the day we ended back at Magic kingdom and ate at Beauty and the Beast! However, we were so tired by the end of this day some of us went back to the hotel and just slept since we had to wake up at 3:00 a.m. to leave to go home.
Day Seven: Back to Belmont |
We all woke up at 3:00 a.m. and finally arrived back to Belmont University around 8:00 a.m. BOY WERE WE ALL SO SO SO TIRED! Basically all we did we did when we got back was sleep, sleep, and oh yeah! SLEEP!
However, overall I had a great time on this trip and I can't wait for more adventures!
XOXO,
Caroline
