Why I Chose Belmont

I started to look into colleges pretty late in the game. I started to do my research and college visits the summer before my senior year. Therefore, if you are a junior reading this, you are already doing better than I did! However, picking the perfect college can be a scary decision. I know my biggest fear when I was choosing a college was, "what if I pick the wrong college?" Trust me, when you go on college visits you will get this 'feeling' when you walk onto the perfect college campus.

For me, my first college visit was Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. I knew right as I stepped on the campus that Belmont University was the college for me. However, I continued to go on more college visits, but none of them felt like Belmont. And look at me now! I am a freshman at Belmont University and I could not be any happier with my choice.

I chose Belmont for many reasons. The first being is like I stated before I just had a feeling that Belmont was 'my home.' However, as I was looking at colleges I knew I wanted a small/medium campus, a christian or catholic school, and of course I wanted greek life (go AGD!). Luckily for me Belmont had everything I wanted and more! Not to mention the campus is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
